Opinions are like waves,
You can learn to ride them or drown underneath.
Life starts with total dependency of man, Without choice,
You are shaped and molded by the words and atmosphere that surrounds you.
As you age,
The grip loosens,
But now you willingly search,
For validation,
Words,
Actions,
People,
Things, etc.
And most times,
Still left unfulfilled.
Then one day, YOU WAKE UP! Realizing that life isn’t guided by the words, actions, thoughts nor opinions of others, Not the likes, dislikes, or those hanging in between, But the reality of who YOU are, Is formed by the words YOU speak And the words YOU believe.
So I Simply Say,
Ride the waves, don’t let the opinions of others drown you.
